The Burgess Inspections Team
 
Douglas "Scooter" Burgess — Owner: Scooter is a graduate of Richmond Technical Center in the four-year electrical program. He is a master electrician, Class B electrical contractor, and President of Burgess Electric. He is an EDI (Exterior Design Institute) certified third party EIFS and Stucco Inspector and Moisture Analyst. He has successfully completed the ITA (Inspector Training Associates) home inspection course. He passed Part A and Part B of the ASHI examination . He brings his 25 years of experience in construction to every job. Scooter also loves the outdoors and especially enjoys spending his time fishing.
 
Bill & Rocket Bill & Max
Bill Vara — Inspector: Bill has been an Inspector since 2001; worked as an interior design consultant; and spent 5 years in the construction industry; and recently completed training to become a Certified Residential Mold Inspector (Indoor Environmental Standards Organization). Bill is a Buffalo native and is a huge animal lover.
 
Mark Worsham — Inspector: Mark has worked with construction and building most of his life. He has a varied background, but most recently worked for an insurance company responsible for assessing catastrophic damage. With this background, Mark is exceptional at assessing the damage to a home and determining the significance of that damage. Mark's lifelong passion has always been about airplanes and flying.
Tricia with SuperBowl Champion Ben Roethlisberger
Tricia Kelly - EIFS Coordinator: Tricia is our EIFS coordination expert. Tricia is the person you’ll see photographing the homes we are scheduled to inspect, again while assisting in the inspection process and preparing and delivering the reports to our clients.
Joan Walsh — Administrator/Office Manager: Joan is our Administrator. Joan is the voice of Burgess Inspections, Inc. as she is the person you'll hear scheduling and confirming appointments. She also takes care of all the office duties at Burgess Inspections.
Heather Daniel — Office Assistant: Heather is our summer intern and office assistant. She is currently a junior at James Madison University, double majoring in Health Sciences and Dance. GO DUKES!
